CERES

The Horizon 2020 Project Climate Change and European aquatic RESources (CERES, 2016-2020) has started in April 2016. This project addresses questions as to how climate change will affect Europe's fish and shellfish resources and how industry can adapt to and benefit from future change. Within CERES the FishRent model will be applied for the demersal fishery in the North Sea and for the pelagic fishery in the Northeast Atlantic. For the demersal fishery the focus will lay on saithe, cod, haddock and hake. For the pelagic fishery mackerel and herring are considered.
